Though he remains a rather divisive figure amongst the Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern, there’s little doubt Olivier Giroud is one of the major attacking players at the club.
Alexis Sanchez may well have impressed in the central striking role when deployed there, the Frenchman’s return to the first-team fold has given our north London locals some food for thought.
And then some.
So, reports emanating out of Italy have sparked debate amongst the Emirates faithful propping up the bar.
According to SportsMediaSet, both Napoli AND AC Milan are aiming to lure the Les Blues ace to Serie A should he continue to sit on the bench under Arsene Wenger for the Gunners.
The former Montpellier man is out of contract in 2018 and could reportedly command a €25m fee, which roughly translates to around £21.9m.
A fee of that figure is likely to provide the Premier League giants with a major decision because, as a 30-year-old, Giroud may not be able to command such a figure for much longer.
