Arsenal fans have been agreeing with Alan Shearer after he commented on Mesut Ozil’s performance against West Ham United.
The former Newcastle United man said that the Irons couldn’t handle the German playmaker in the second-half (via Premier League).
It was a period of the game where the Gunners took the game away from the Hammers as Gabriel Martinelli, Nicolas Pepe and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored three goals in nine second-half minutes.
He hasn’t always been the go-to man for the north London giants this season, having made just seven appearances in the Premier League (via Transfermarkt).
However, he has turned his fortune around in recent weeks, starting each of the last five Premier League games for the club.
Ozil hasn’t always been in Shearer’s good books with the pundit having previously criticised the former Germany international’s attitude (MOTD via GMS).
