Arsenal: Fans agree with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s stance on signing new contract

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s future is one of the hottest topics at Arsenal right now after his good form of late, having been praised as ‘world class’ by Gary Neville on Sky Sports. Head coach Mikel Arteta sounded optimistic over keeping the centre-forward when he talked about him during his post-match press conference after the clash against Everton.

His positivity surrounding the £63m-rated (as per Transfermarkt) star man has now been backed up by Le10sport, who are claiming that the north London outfit have held positive talks with regards to a new contract. However, they also go on to say that Aubameyang will wait to see if the club can secure Champions League football and how the recruitment goes before making a final decision.

Arteta will be desperate to keep the 30-year-old due to the quality he has shown since joining in the winter of 2018. Since joining the club, Aubameyang has scored more goals than any other Arsenal player, showing how important he has been to the team.
