Arsenal fans are begging the club to sign Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish after his performance in the 2-0 win over Newcastle United last night.
The midfielder was in brilliant form for the Villans as he had the most shots at goal (5), played the most key passes (6) and was the most fouled player (5) of any Villa player (via WhoScored).
He has been linked with a move to the club’s bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the past, with the Lilywhites having almost completed a deal for the player, who thought he’d be moving to north London (via talkSPORT).
However, everything changed with the takeover from Wes Edens and Nassef Sawiris being completed as the club’s financial situation improved.
Meanwhile, at Arsenal, Granit Xhaka’s position at the club is far from stable and Lucas Torreira’s future is far from certain, possibly leaving the club short in midfield.
After his man of the match performance, fans took to Twitter to demand the club make a move for the midfielder.
