‘What is Wenger doing to our players?’ - Arsenal fans explode as star shows boss what he’s got

Arsenal fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern are still trying to work out just what to make of last season, and especially what to make of the performances of certain individuals.

One of the main talking points here in the bar is French striker Olivier Giroud who, despite being left on the sidelines for most of the season, cropped up with some important contributions last season.

The 30-year-old, who bagged a hattrick whilst on international duty last week, recently called for more game time under Arsene Wenger, even dropping a hint at a potential departure.

However, after his treble in the first game at national level, the Gunners forward continued his fine form despite Les Bleus losing 2-1 to Sweden.

With the scores level in the first half, the ball fell to the Arsenal man who, having scored one of the goals of the season in the Premier League last season, fired home an outstanding effort.

Despite the confusion over his future at Arsenal, it seems that fans here in the Tavern as well as on social media are backing their man to continue in north London…
