Arsenal fans have been going ballistic after it was revealed that the club’s attempts to get Granit Xhaka to apologise to the fans is going wayward.

According to The Sun, Unai Emery spoke to the Switzerland international on the phone and attempts to persuade him to apologise to the Arsenal fans have come to nothing.
It was also revealed in the same report that the Basque-born manager fears a dressing room revolt if he takes the captaincy away from the popular Xhaka.
It was widely reported back in September that the Arsenal players were unanimous in their voting of the 27-year-old as the club’s captain (via Evening Standard).
Amid the scandal surrounding Xhaka, the north London club face Liverpool and Wolverhampton Wanderers in a daunting run of games.
Fans seemed aghast at the news that Xhaka is seemingly ‘refusing’ to apologise for his actions against Crystal Palace.
