Many Arsenal fans have responded on Twitter to a Shkodran Mustafi comeback after he responded to a fan’s tweet.
An Arsenal fan mentioned the German in a tweet which read: ‘I hate to say this but @MustafiOfficial has played 2 games and kept 2 clean sheet.’, to which Mustafi responded with a sarcastic ‘Sorry for keeping the 2 clean sheets’ – as you can see below.

It’s no secret that the central defender has come under a fair bit of criticism at Arsenal since joining the club, however, many fans had his back on this one and admired his Tweet.
So far this season, the 27-year-old has featured just a couple of times – once against Frankfurt in the Europa League and once against Nottingham Forest in the EFL Cup. It’s been two fantastic games for him, with his side winning on an aggregate scoreline of 8-0 from the two matches.
However, he has yet to make a single matchday squad in the league, which may be a sign that his future is unlikely to be at Arsenal for much longer.
