Arsenal fans are all desperate to bring in a quality wide player this summer, and who better than Wilfried Zaha? The Ivorian Crystal Palace star would be perfect at The Emirates, but as The Sun reports it could take £40 million plus Reiss Nelson, the Gunners are quickly going back on their wishes to bring in the 26-year-old.
Arsenal will soon make an offer for Zaha and are willing to offer £40m. Arsenal also willing to offer Chambers, Jenkinson or R.Nelson in part exchange. https://t.co/fp8YnW7xkM

Without a player plus cash deal, signing Zaha could cost them a fee of around £80 million, and in truth, Unai Emery just doesn’t have that kind of money to be splurging on one man this summer. With that in mind, he’ll be keen to get rid of some deadwood in the process of signing the silky ex-Manchester United attacker, although Reiss Nelson is not deadwood.
The Gunners will have no issues losing someone like Calum Chambers, Mohamed Elneny or Carl Jenkinson if it means Zaha gets signed, but to lose Reiss Nelson would be ludicrous. The North Londoners all have faith in Nelson going onto become an icon at The Emirates, and with the winger scoring eight goals this season whilst on-loan at Hoffenheim, they have no interest in letting him go.

Nonsense. Why would we offer Nelson lmao?

The Gunners all want Zaha, but they’re not prepared to lose out on Reiss Nelson to get him in.
