Arsenal fans were left delighted when it became apparent earlier in the week that N’Golo Kante might not have been fit to face them in tonight’s Europa League final, but now it seems that the French workhorse could feature and is apparently 50/50 according to Maurizio Sarri, comments via Sky Sports.

Whilst Kante won’t be the man to single-handedly win the game for Chelsea if they are to be victorious, he will have a massive say on the outcome if he plays the entire match. Arsenal fans will be a whole lot more confident if the two-time Premier League title winner and reigning World Cup champion was to miss out, and for obvious reasons.
The midfield battle in Baku is already going to be light on the Gunners’ side as both Aaron Ramsey and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are missing it through injury and the political tensions in Azerbaijan, so for the playing field to be slightly levelled with one of Maurizio Sarri’s key players missing would have been a welcome bonus. Unfortunately, that’s now not the case and the Gunners are devastated.

He is playing tomorrow. No need for mind games.

The Gunners are far from happy at the apparent mind games coming from the Chelsea camp and will be desperate to overcome their London rivals whether Kante plays or not.
