Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern have been criticising manager, Arsene Wenger, for comments he made today after the North London brought a run of four straight losses to an end with a fantastic 2-0 over AC Milan at the San Siro in the Europa League.

It’s beginning to feel like the results don’t matter anymore when it comes to slating Arsene Wenger. The Frenchman responded expertly to the fans’ calls for him to resign by guiding Arsenal to victory against The Rossoneri to effectively put Arsenal into the last eight of Europe’s second-tier competition.
However, today Wenger claimed that (posted on their official website and hinted at on their Twitter account) when Arsenal lose he finds himself in “disastrous shape” leading to Arsenal fans all making the same jibe and asking him to step down. It’s surely only a matter of time before the legendary manager steps down from his role in the Emirates hot seat, with increasing pressure to leave after a string of poor performances this season.
