Arsenal: Fans react negatively after links with Ajax’s Hakim Ziyech

Arsenal fans have been displaying their negativity after the club were linked with a move for Ajax’s Hakim Ziyech.

According to Calciomercato, the Gunners are interested in the Morocco international, who Ajax are willing to sell for €50m (roughly £42.5m) in the current transfer window.

The news proves baffling given the smaller transfer fee he was available for in last summer’s transfer window.
Before signing a new contract at the club, the 27-year-old was available for just £25m, however, he went on to sign a new three-year deal with the side (via Bleacher Report).
Fans didn’t seem to be too keen on the club making a move for the player as they took to Twitter to react with some unsure over his ability and the need for a centre-back, while others were uncertain over the validity of the reports.

Ziyech’s a fraud. Man’s 27 and still playing alongside farmers. He had a 25 million release clause yet no club triggered it which says a lot. Also Majority of the players who come directly from the Dutch league flop here. 50 million pounds, no Thanks I’d rather spend on a cb.
