Many Arsenal fans have shared their excitement after seeing that Eddie Nketiah has got on the scoresheet again for Leeds United’s first-team.
The Arsenal loanee tapped in from a Kalvin Phillips cross to give the club a 1-0 lead in the 84th minute over Yorkshire rivals Barnsley.
That was Nketiah’s second league goal in just 78 minutes of Championship football this season; he has come on in four matches but is yet to start one.
Leeds’ Twitter page was flooded with Arsenal fans as soon as they announced that Nketiah had bagged for the away side, with many supportive messages and memes coming in for the attacker.
The goal turned out to be a huge one, as Leeds recorded another vital three points, with the game finishing 2-0.
This has now moved Leeds to the top of the Championship on goal difference, with the club winning five, drawing one and losing one.
This is the player’s first-ever loan spell away from the club.
