Arsene Wenger has become renowned for allowing his young players to blossom in the Arsenal side – something to the annoyance of our regulars here at the Transfer Tavern.
When he has refused to spend large on big name signings, Wenger has ensured his youth players were given their chance to shine.
Now, another crop of talent has come through at the Emirates Stadium – with the majority of whom being loaned out to gain the crucial first-team experience required.
Wenger has recently taken the decision to loan out a number of first-team experienced players also to regain both form and fitness too.
These are 2 loans our landlord feels Arsenal fans should be very excited about their expected return to the Gunners in the coming season…
Calum Chambers

The former Southampton graduate arrived at Arsenal in 2014 and began to impress all around him. However, a loss of form and inexperience forced to Wenger to reconsider his progression formula.
Chambers have been touted as a future England regular but until he has achieved a regular starting platform in football we may never see Chambers achieve his potential.
Arsenal have struggled to find a suitable English centre-back since Sol Campbell left the club in 2006, but Chambers certainly has our backing at the Transfer Tavern when he returns from his loan spell at ‘Boro.
Wojciech Szczesny

The Polish international was in a similar situation to Jack Wilshere when injuries saw him lose his place in the first-team squad. Szczesny was loaned to Serie A club AS Roma in the hope of gaining the much-needed experience to one day return and become an Arsenal icon.
In Italy, we are starting to see the potential become fulfilled and with Per Cech not getting any younger, it won’t be long before we see the Arsenal graduate return to the Emirates Stadium and take the number one jersey off Petr Cech.
