Arsenal fans were feeling ecstatic after Granit Xhaka was subbed off in their loss to Sheffield United last night.

The Arsenal captain made way for Alexandre Lacazette in the defeat last night as the Gunners chased a late equaliser against Chris Wilder’s side.
Xhaka isn’t the most popular of figures at the club and was roundly criticised by the north London faithful after he was named captain of the side by Unai Emery (via HITC).
The 27-year-old has been criticised many times during his time at the Emirates Stadium by pundits. Gary Neville slammed the midfielder after he gave away a penalty for a foul on Heung-Min Son in the north London derby back in September (Sky Sports via football.london).
After his substitution in the loss last night, fans celebrated, taking to Twitter to react.
