Arsenal fans would have Cazorla flashbacks if club landed £18m-rated maestro this summer

The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are praying that Unai Emery is the right appointment and that he could be the man to bring back success to the Emirates.

In what was a bad last year for Arsene Wenger, the season ended with more question marks about their side, will they be good enough to again challenge for the top four? At the moment, no. But, our punters feel with the addition of Hakim Ziyech of Ajax (valued at £18 million according to Transfermarkt) Arsenal could really benefit from the Moroccan, so much so, he could be the creative driving force towards future success.

The 25-year-old has proven over the last few seasons for the Dutch giants that he is a quality player who could soon get his chance to shine in England. This season has again been a memorable one for Ziyech as he provided his team with 9 goals and a staggering 18 assists from attacking midfield or even on the wing. Arsenal surely wouldn’t say their main priority is to find another attacker but after long-serving cult hero Santi Cazorla left the cub, Ziyech could provide the Gunners with instant joy once again, as if they were watching the Spanish magician.

Hakim Ziyech would be a hard player to lure considering that Ajax have the opportunity to play Champions League football next season whereas Arsenal do not. Some would argue that the Gunners are a bigger club but certainly not by current world placement they wouldn’t be. Arsenal really must do all they can to secure the 25-year-old mind you as Ziyech is a player of undeniable quality and could win a game on his own.
