The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern have been handed some good news today, despite the fact midfielder Santi Cazorla was ruled out for around three months.
While Arsene Wenger is never the most active in the transfer market these days, the Gunners propping up the bar have been happy to read reports from the Liverpool Echo.
They’ve revealed the north London titans are favourites to sign Exeter City youngster Ethan Ampadu, ahead of Liverpool themselves.
Though just 16 years of age, the classy holding midfielder has already appeared in the Grecians’ first-team and is making waves in the Football League.
The Reds are believed to have monitored his progress at St. James Park over the past few months and the talented teen has been included in Chris Coleman’s senior Welsh team setup.
Still, the player’s father, Kwame, is on the coaching staff at the Emirates and the versatile talented teen could well end up playing under Wenger.
