Many Arsenal fans have been left to slam an update from Fabrizio Romano on Mikel Arteta.
As per the Italian football journalist and transfer guru (via ZRAFC), the North London club are 'really happy' with the Spanish manager and are 'planning for transfers' with him in charge, suggesting that there is no plan whatsoever to let him go before the end of the 2020/21 term.
That is despite the Emirates Stadium faithful currently sitting in 10th spot in the table in the Premier League and coming off the back of very disappointing recent results against Liverpool and Slavia Prague.
There is certainly a divide among Gunners supporters over whether he is the right man to take them forward, and some have expressed their anger at the update.

These Gooners slammed the update on Arteta after it was shared on Twitter, with one AFC fan even going as far as to claim that it was 'outrageous':
