Arsenal Scout Steve Rowley Targets £6M Rated Attacking Mid

Borussia Dortmund midfielder and Arsenal  target Kevin Großkreutz  recently admitted that he would welcome a big-money move to The Emirates , according to The Daily Mail.

The 23-year-old attacking midfielder/winger, who was being monitored by Arsenal chief scout Steve Rowley against Olympiakos over a week ago, is under contract with the Bundesliga side until 2014.

However, his agent Konstantin Liolios  has made it clear to Großkreutz that Arsene Wenger  has expressed an interest in his services, which left the German international recently stating:

‘If I do ever leave Dortmund, I would like to go to the Premier League in England, and my favourite club there is Arsenal.’

Although I don’t believe we are in desperate need of adding another winger to our squad, Großkreutz does look a good player – from what I’ve seen of him of course. He is strong, quick, can use both feet and has the ability to get past defenders. I for one would welcome him at The Emirates, if a move occurs.

However, we are yet to see any real development in what can only be constituted as a rumour at this time. But surely there will be some form of movement following Großkreutz’s latest words.

Well now, when it comes to football, one man has for many years been the most noticeable, the most controversial, and occasionally the most successful blogger this country has ever produced. His pithy words and abrasive style make him as famous off the pitch as he is on it. This man is Escapini. "I love football. Football she's a cruel mistress. She's, she's more than a mistress. She's a wife, she's a mother, she's a daughter, she's an errant child. She's a… she's a… she can make you laugh, she make you cry. She can bring tears me eyes. She can bring blood to me shoulders. She can bring a kettle to the boil." "Cause football is about nothing, unless it's about something and what it is about, is football."
