Though the Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern have come away from yesterday’s North London Derby rather disappointed, there’s little doubt things are going well at the Emirates right now.
The Gunners are unbeaten since the opening day of the season and could finally win a Champions League group after Arsene Wenger decided to splash the cash over the course of the summer.
Now, according to London News Online, the club could be about to further consolidate what appears to be a corner turned in recent months.
They report that Arsenal are ready to tempt Crystal Palace U18 manager Ken Gillard to the club in order to assist Kwame Ampadu at that age group in north London.
The former Republic of Ireland U21 has proved impressive for the Eagles, having left his job as assistant manager of non-league Nuneaton Town back in 2012.
He will reportedly be tasked with improving burgeoning talents at the club, such as Levi Lumeka, who notched SEVENTEEN times as a winger last season.
