Arsene Wenger has a big decision to make as to how he approaches the 2017/18 campaign.

The Gunners boss has seen his side miss out on a Champions League place for the first time during his tenure in North London. Many Arsenal fans are proposing that the Frenchman chooses to sacrifice the Europa League and put all his eggs in his Premier League basket.

Wenger will effectively use the poor man’s version of the Champions League to blood his youth players with competitive football, while keeping his first-team fresh for Premier League ties.

Whether Wenger will do so remains to be seen, however if he chooses to instead go all guns blazing (pardon the pun) in the Europa League, then he’ll need some reinforcements.
