Arsene Quoted £7M For Goal Machine

Arsenal are considering a January swoop for Anderlecht striker Matias Suarez, according to Inside Futbol.

Arsene Wenger is likely to make a centre-forward a priority in the transfer window with Marouane Chamakh and Gervinho off to the African Cup of Nations.

Suarez, 23, has been in good goalscoring form this season with 14 goals in 25 matches and the Argentine has the ability to play on the left or right of a front three as well as the middle – suiting the way Arsenal play.

The forward has a contract with Anderlecht until 2013 and is likely to cost Arsenal around £7m.
