Arsene Wenger should look to seal a January deal for 1 of these 2 left-wingers

The Arsenal supporting punters here in the Transfer Tavern have not had a great deal to shout about in recent times, with the Gunners failing to win the Premier League title in 13 years.

The group of ardent supporters who can regularly be found supping away here in the bar are hopeful that this season can finally be the year that Arsenal regain their crown, following years of misery.

Arsene Wenger’s men will hope to stay the distance this season having fallen away when it really mattered in years of old, particularly last season when they failed to catch surprise champions Leicester City.

With Wenger desperate to finally bring the big prizes back to the Emirates Stadium, he could look to add to his squad during the January transfer window.

Tavern writer Lee Clarke takes a look at two left-wingers that would bolster the Gunners’ squad.

The French winger is only 21-years-old and looks set to play for one of European football’s biggest clubs at some point during his career.

The Monaco man has been in fine form this season and his form could warrant a club, such as Arsenal, making their move in January.

One Gunners supporter here in the Tavern is having a quick pint and he thinks Lemar would be a shrewd signing, provided that the price is right.

Bernard

Bernard

The Shakhtar left-winger possesses all the South American flair required to make Arsenal a real attacking force once again.

The 24-year-old would undoubtedly love to make the move to a top European league at some point during his career and his game is well suited to the demands of the Premier League.

One of our elderly Arsenal supporters is playing on the fruit machine and he thinks that Bernard is definitely an option worth pursuing.
