About James Jones

James is an experienced football writer, editor, podcaster, broadcaster, content creator and digital publishing specialist, having worked in the football media industry for over a decade.

After graduating in 2011, James spent three years freelancing as a print journalist, writing for titles such as Nuts Magazine, Golf Monthly and the News of the World. In 2014, James joined Snack Media’s coveted internship scheme, which eventually led to a full-time opportunity working as the assistant editor of their flagship website, FootballFanCast.com.

James then rose up the ranks at Snack Media to become the Content Lead of Snack Sports' entire portfolio of football websites, which involved overseeing and managing its overall content strategy and long-term growth. 

James is also a huge West Ham fan and co-owns the We Are West Ham Podcast. He is often seen or heard on various international media outlets discussing his beloved Hammers, including MOTD 2, Premier League Productions, BBC News, talkSPORT, GB News, ITV News, LBC Radio and BBC Radio 5 Live.
