Barcelona are enduring a poor start to their campaign, having lost two and drawn one of their opening five league games.
Their latest defeat came on Saturday against La Liga new boys Granada, who earned promotion to the top-flight from the Segunda División last term. Goals in each half from Ramon Azeez and Alvaro Vadillo secured all three points for Diego Martínez’s side, who now sit third in the table after five games.
Lionel Messi was only fit enough to feature from the bench, introduced to the fold just after the break in the hope that he could create something for his side. It wasn’t to be, however, and the Catalans now head into their midweek clash against Villarreal with just one win in their last four matches (all competitions).
Many Barca fans are now becoming tired of manager Ernesto Valverde – as shown in the Tweets below – with it being reported on Twitter that the 55-year-old has also lost the faith of some of his players in the dressing room.
Here’s how fans reacted to that news:

This guy lacks the tactics, energy, enthusiasm, passion to coach a team like @FCBarcelona. Let’s not even talk about his countenance 😏

Part of the dressing room? If the entire team hasn’t lost confidence like every supporter did last May, they’re more delusional than the Bartomeu. He was a square peg in a round hole from the very beginning. One of the worst managerial decisions in club history.
