Speculation continues to surround Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz, with Barcelona reportedly joining the race to sign the highly-rated 20-year-old alongside Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund (via AS).
The young German scored 20 goals and provided seven assists for Leverkusen last term and has already notched two goals in his first four appearances for the club this term.
He continues to gain the attention of some of Europe’s biggest clubs, with Bayern Munich also allegedly interested in his services.
Spanish champions Barcelona remain arguably the most attractive proposition Havertz has available to him, though, even if their fans aren’t keen on the idea of their club acquiring the five-cap Germany international.
Barcelona fan page @barcacentre revealed that the Catalans were reportedly tracking Havertz and could potentially make an offer for the 20-year-old next summer, also stating that he would cost the club around €100m (£89m).
Supporters are far from impressed with those rumours, however, with many of them taking to Twitter to voice their opinions on the Leverkusen starlet.
