Barcelona are reportedly eyeing a move for a new striker in 2020 as they look for potential replacements for Luis Suarez, who turns 33 in January, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The Catalan club believe that a younger player is needed to lead the line due to the Uruguayan’s age and struggles with injury in recent seasons and have lined up three potential new signings.

Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez is allegedly on the Spanish champions’ radar, as is Lille striker Victor Osimhen . Another potential new arrival could be Marcus Rashford.
The England international has started the season promisingly having found the net seven times in 14 appearances for Manchester United (per Transfermarkt).
His latest goal was a sublime free-kick from distance against Chelsea in the EFL Cup on Wednesday night, reminiscent of Cristiano Ronaldo’s wonder-strike against Portsmouth in 2008.
Barcelona fans have been quick to point out that Antoine Griezmann is more than capable of leading the line in the future, though, and that Rashford is not the man they need to bring in.
Wat about griezmann…

Griezmann is fine, just give him a chance with Messi and Dembele on his side… Or Messi as False 9 with Suarez on his left and Griezmann on his right

Suarez is turning 33 in February. Also his contract expires at the end on next season with, so far, no talks of an extension…
Griezmann is still good but will be 29 next year…Barca need to sign a top class, LONG TERM number 9. Martinez imo is a no brainier

Barcelona would be very sick in the head to go for Rashford. What in the world are they even thinking? There are top talents his age everywhere and that lad isn’t one of them and Barcelona still can’t see? This board keeps surprising me.

Lautaro because he plays with Messi in the national team. The recruitment team is the worst in Barca.
