Barcelona midfielder Arthur has been left out of tonight’s squad for the Catalans’ clash against Slavia Prague at the Camp Nou.

The Brazilian has started six league games for Barca this term, alongside all of the Blaugrana’s matches in Europe but has been left out of the squad for this evening’s visit of Slavia (via Transfermarkt).
Indeed, this has confused parts of the club’s support, who have been left completely baffled by his exclusion.
Arthur featured for the final 24 minutes of Saturday’s shock 3-1 La Liga defeat to Levante, coming off the bench to replace teenage winger Ansu Fati, but was left out of the squad which beat Real Valladolid 5-1 last Tuesday. Prior to that, he had started the club’s previous four league games – each of those games Barcelona had won.
Fans are unsurprisingly perplexed with the lack of Arthur in Barcelona’s matchday squad for tonight’s clash, as shown by these Tweets below..
No Arthur and Dembele being told he needs to earn his place is why Valverde needs to be fired immediately #valverde_out

Valvedre is gonna ruin Barca to the ground.
Arthur was left out midweek.
Another UCL match, left out.
For why? Man is fully fit and a much better option than Rakitic. pic.twitter.com/qe05LhOEZw— Search R DUNT On audiomack (@OfficialRdunt) November 4, 2019
What is the reason for not keeping Arthur in XI? Valverde is an abyss. Bartemeo & Valverde are in competition to destroy Barca.#valverde_out#Bartemeo_out

No Arthur is a joke tactic

Leaving Arthur out?!? Really? Are you mad? This coach is clueless and as long as he’s there, Barca will never win the Champions. Hope they’ll lose tomorrow. No Arthur, no fun! #ValverdeOut

Arthur? Barca’s management must learn from @FCBayern and let Valverde go! #valverde_out #ValverdeOut
