Philippe Coutinho made a name for himself as one of the best creative midfielders in world football during his time with Liverpool.
The Brazilian notched 54 goals and 45 assists during his time at Anfield, earning a £130m move to Barcelona in the summer of 2018, but failed to convince Camp Nou chiefs throughout his opening 18 months in Spain and was loaned out to Bayern Munich in the summer.
Since joining the Bavarian outfit, the 27-year-old has scored twice and assisted four times in 10 games, per Transfermarkt.
Coutinho has been subjected to some fairly harsh criticism from ex-Bayern Munich midfielder Dietmar Hamann for his recent performances, however, with the former Germany international saying that he feels as though the South American is a “stranger” in Bayern’s team and “only shows 50% of his talent” (via Mundo Deportivo).
Hamann also told German publication Bild (via the Mirror): “I cannot remember a good situation [he made] in attack.”
Here’s how Barcelona fans reacted to Hamann’s comments on Twitter; clearly many are in agreement with the 46-year-old…

That’s not 50%, that’s his maximum, he’s just not good enough for Barca or Bayern.
