Barcelona fans are fed up with winger Ousmane Dembele.
The France international has struggled for form at the Camp Nou this season, scoring just once in six appearances for the Blaugrana (via Transfermarkt).

When fit, Dembele has sometimes been overlooked in Ernesto Valverde’s starting XI this term, with either Antoine Griezmann or Ansu Fati preferred ahead of him in Barcelona’s attack.
However, against Slavia Prague in the Champions League on Tuesday night, the 22-year-old got the call-up with Luis Suarez ruled out through injury.
Griezmann and Dembele took up positions on either flank, while Messi was tasked with playing as the lone striker in the absence of Suarez. Sadly for the Spanish champions, neither could find the net and the match ended goalless.
Dembele’s contribution was notably poor and he was replaced by teenager Ansu Fati on the 65th minute. Barca fans are now reaching the end of their tether with the ex-Borussia Dortmund wide man, who cost the club £112.5m back in 2017.

Dembele is very inconsistent. Sometimes he can produce top quality, but then he also loses the ball easily, can’t control, or take a shot on goal. It’s the inconsistency which is the problem. I don’t think Valverde can do much about that.

In as much as Valverde is clueless as a Barca coach, the truth is that Dembele has never improve for almost 3 seasons in Barcelona. He has neither match his price tag nor live up expectation.
