Many Bayern Munich fans have expressed their love for Franck Ribery after their former player sent a message to Niklas Sule after his injury.
The German international ruptured his ACL in Bayern’s 2-2 draw with Augsburg. The 24-year-old managed to do it by planting his foot awkwardly after challenging for a bouncing ball, immediately clutching for his left knee. Doctors came on and assessed the injury before he was stretchered off.
Sule had played every game of the season before his injury according to WhoScored, having an average rating of 6.86 for his performances.
Franck Ribery – now playing for Fiorentina in Serie A – had a lot of sympathy for his former teammate. The Bayern legend told his teammate to “stay strong” and offered his condolences for the injury.
Unsurprisingly, Bayern fans loved to see their former player send such a nice message, with many talking about the Bayern family.
