Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern are concerned to see their star-player is attracting increased interest from the continent, increasing the likelihood he will leave in 2016.
The Sun on Sunday state Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have joined the hunt for striker Harry Kane, who has been linked with a big-money move to Manchester United throughout the calendar year.
Rated at a sensational £50m, Kane rose to fame last season with a goal haul of 21 in the Premier League and impressed on the international stage with England; making him a crucial player for Roy Hodgson’s Three Lions squad next summer.
The end of the season could be when Kane leaves White Hart Lane, especially if Mauricio Pochettino’s side fail to qualify for the Champions League, as a player of his calibre will be looking to play in the biggest competitions.
Tottenham fans at the bar are conceding it’s unlikely they can keep Kane for the long-term and have stated they would sell next summer for an audacious fee, which they could get if Kane enjoys a good European Championships in France.
