Beskitas Preparing €12M Bid

Arsenal flop Nickolas Bendtner has attracted interest from Turkish side, Beskitas. Who are considering a £12m bid, after missing out on Miroslav Klose to Lazio.

The Danish international has expressed his desire to leave the Emirates this summer after a lack of first-team football. European giant’s Inter Milan and Bayern Munich have also shown an interest in the much criticised striker.

Arsenal have been linked a with a number of targets this transfer window. It is believed Wenger is keen to cash in on his squad players in order to fund new signings. The 23 year-old has three years to run on his current contract and any suitable offers for the striker will be considered by the north London club. With Wenger stating he will allow players to leave if they wish.

Bendtner has had a frustrating time at Arsenal, often playing second or even third fiddle to the likes of Van Persie and Chamakh this season. Having spent six years under Wenger’s guidance the forward has flattered to deceive at times. Failing to fit into the intricate style of play created by the French tactician.

You would have to believe any offer near their €12m valuation for one of their consistently worst performers will be snapped up and re-invested into players more comfortable with the Arsenal ethos.
