Bilic really should secure a deal for these 2 strikers in January

The West Ham fans in the Tavern think that Slavan Bilic seriously needs to dig deep into his pockets to secure the signing of 2 new strikers this winter.

The fact remains that no West Ham striker has scored a league goal for the Hammers so far this season and that needs to change should West Ham’s ambitions become a reality.

Not many people expected West Ham to struggle when they made the move to their new home in Stratford. Their new 58,000 seated stadium has been anything but comfortable for Bilic’s men and unless he makes some changes in the squad, the season could end in disaster.

Injuries have not aided the cause at the London Stadium as three of the Irons forwards suffered long-term injuries prior to the start of the season. What’s more, Calleri and Zaza have not stepped up in the absence of key players either.

These are two players our West Ham supporters at the Tavern feel Slavan Bilic should really make a move for.

Javier Hernandez

Hernandez

As the club are so desperate for goals – there is not many forwards better than Javier Hernandez.

Hernandez previously had a successful spell at Manchester United before a move to Germany occurred and our locals at the Tavern have been impressed with the 28-year-old’s displays for Bayern Leverkusen.

With goals so difficult to come by, an abundance of money in the bank, and ambitions sky high – a move for Hernandez makes perfect sense for everyone involved.

Make it happen, Slaven.

Alexandre Lacazette

Lacazette

French international Lacazette has been truly sensational for Lyon in recent seasons and he could be the man to take West Ham to the next level.

His fine form has continued into this season, and currently – he just cannot stop scoring. He’s already bagged an incredible 6 goals so far, and you would be hard pressed to find anyone to bet against him more than tripling that total by the end of the campaign.

He can earn West Ham points on his own if they’re able to bring him to the London Stadium.  It might be a struggle to convince him to come, but the lure of playing in front of nearly 60,000 people could do the job.
