Birmingham City help kick off the weekend Sky Bet Championship action this evening as they head south to Bristol and Ashton Gate to take on Bristol City.
The Blues have had a decent week in terms of results with a good win over Nottingham Forest last weekend followed by progress in the FA Cup via a penalty shootout against Coventry City.
The Blues are in decent nick, then, and one man that has impressed during those games is veteran Lee Camp – with the 35-year-old proving really hard to beat from the spot.
He’s coming to the end of his contract this summer and it remains to be seen what happens next with his future but his recent performances have sparked a debate on social media amongst Blues fans.
Let’s take a look at what they have said in terms of whether it would be worth the club offering him an extension:

He is obviously playing for a new contract! Apart from these last three games, he has had been a total calamity! Punching the ball out to the opposition instead of catching it, letting in the softest goals and has cost us that many pts up until the last 3 games!! Let him go!
