Bradley must drop these 2 Swansea players in every game from now on

We here at the Transfer Tavern were slightly surprised when Swansea City opted to appoint Bob Bradley as first team manager in replacement of Francesco Guidolin.

Guidolin became the first Premier League casualty after a poor start to the season found himself out of a job. The owners at the Liberty Stadium acted quickly in order to replace the underachieving gaffer, replacing him with Bob Bradley on the same day.

However, a difficult task awaits for the American boss.

With no transfer window until January, Bradley will have to make do with what he already has at his disposal; and given the poor form of the Swans so far this season – he must ring the changes.

In fact, our landlord thinks he could drop a few regulars going forward..

With that said, Bob Bradley should drop these TWO players from now on…

Angel Rangel

Angel RangelAngel Rangel

Angel Rangel is somewhat of a fan favourite, and whilst that is easy to understand given his years of loyalty to the Swans; the time has come for him to be dropped.

He has had a few poor displays so far this season, and his performance against Liverpool was the straw that broke the camels back.

It doesn’t help that the Swans have a lot of defensive options that were overlooked during Guidolin’s short spell such as Welsh star Neil Taylor.

It’s easy to see where changes can be made to tighten up their defensive woes.

Wayne Routledge

Wayne Routledge

The winger has been poor at the start of the season and with a Premier League winning midfielder in Nathan Dyer sat on the bench – it is hard to see why he’s not been given the chance to play, especially after signing a new contract in Wales at the start of the season.

Routledge has looked ineffective both defensively and going forward so far this season, and considering Swansea’s defensive woes in recent weeks – a midfield change is necessary from Bradley.

Routledge has long been a constant for Swansea but on his current form – he needs to be dropped.

Routledge out, Dyer in.
