West Ham United supporters in the Transfer Tavern have used Twitter to express their happiness that Reece Oxford has been recalled from Germany.
Our resident West Ham fans in the Transfer Tavern are somewhat thrilled that Reece Oxford has been recalled to West Ham following his loan at Borussia Monchengladbach.
Despite not making a single appearance for the German side, the 18-year-old was an unused substitute in all six of their Bundesliga matches.
The English starlet made five appearances on loan at Reading last season, and he hasn’t played for the Hammers in over a year.
His immediate future at West Ham is certainly in jeopardy, and it seems that his career is stagnating at the worst time possible. At his age, he requires consistent first-team involvement to grow and develop as a player.
Our resident West Ham fans have showcased their eagerness for Oxford to feature in the Irons’ first-team on Twitter. Here are the best responses regarding Reece Oxford.

Could thrive in a back 3 to be honest. Gives him protection he needs to excel. If we could also bring Carvalho into the squad in January

All it needs now is for Bilic to give the lad a chance. He's obviously good enough.⚒
