The news cycle when it comes to Arsenal seems to churn out the same old bunkum every other day. When we’re not hearing about Robin Van Persie leaving the club next summer, we’re hearing about the Gunner’s need for a full-back or another forward.
Filtered into the claptrap is the rumour thatArsenal’s top scorer of all time, Thierry Henry could be making a shock return to the Emirates during the January transfer window. The latest reports suggest that Wenger could make a loan move for Henry in order to give RVP a bit of support upfront.

How much truth there is to this rumour, it’s impossible to say, but it’s worth considering whether it would be a good move for Arsenal.
After-all, there’s been enough jokes amongst fans suggesting that Thierry Henry’s recently established statue would have more luck in front of goal than Marouane Chamakh, so why not get the real deal to show the Moroccan how it’s done?
You can tell from the way that Henry speaks about Arsenal that he has boundless love for the club and a passion that is lacking from the likes of Andrei Arshavin and certain others. But can he still back up his passion with genuine ability? At 34-years old, he’s surely starting to push it and there have to be questions as to whether he’s still Premier League quality.
