Many Bristol City fans have lambasted their side’s performance as they drew 2-2 with Wigan Athletic at Ashton Gate.
The Robins left it late to grab an equaliser against the visitors, who were undoubtedly the better side throughout the match.
Despite Wigan only having 45 per cent possession, they were largely dominant. They had 19 shots to City’s nine, seven shots on target to four, as well as 10 corners to five (per stats from BBC).
The hosts took the lead thanks to Andreas Weimann in the 39th minute, before a double from Chey Dunkley put Wigan ahead in the match.
Benfica loanee Pedro Pereira managed to ensure that Bristol City managed to get one point from their match after the right-back nodded home a Niclas Eliasson corner past David Marshall.
It was the important late goal for City in as many games after Josh Brownhill scored the winner against Charlton midweek in the 98th minute.
Bristol City could’ve moved into the automatic promotion spots with a win, but instead are now sixth with 24 points.
Fans were frustrated with the result against 18th placed Wigan, as you can tell from the responses below…
