London’s Evening Standard is reporting that Steve Bruce will attempt to bring Michael Dawson to the Stadium of Light to strengthen their defence in January.
Harry Redknapp will not want to sell Dawson, who has impressed at the back in the absence of Ledley King and Jonathan Woodgate, but he has reportedly been told he will have to sell before he can bring fresh faces into White Hart Lane.
