Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou has dropped an early team news hint ahead of the Parkhead club’s SPFL clash against St Johnstone.
The Lowdown: Ralston injury scare
During Celtic’s recent 2-1 win over Livingston, Hoops defender Anthony Ralston was forced off the pitch with a suspected injury.
The Bhoys are back in action again on Saturday, with their next league game putting them up against St Johnstone.
Looking ahead to the weekend, the Celtic boss has dropped an early team news hint coming off the back of the midweek victory.
The Latest: Postecoglou’s Ralston hint
Speaking after the win over Livingston (via The Scottish Sun), Postecoglou had this to say regarding Ralston, his injury scare and his potential availability for Saturday’s game.
He said: “We’ll see. In terms of Anthony, we’ll see how he pulls up. Hopefully it’s nothing serious. He got copped on the ankle then copped one on the nose and then I think his back seized up. We’ll see how he is, but if Tony has half a chance, he’ll play.”

With ten league appearances to his name this season, the full-back has shown how useful he is for the team.
