On that occasion, Celtic enjoyed a 1-0 victory at Parkhead before the Danish side got their revenge with a 3-1 win on their own patch in the return fixture. However, the Hoops were already through to the knockout rounds by that point, having beaten Manchester United two weeks previously (as per BBC).
Following yesterday’s draw, FC Copenhagen posted a tweet in English on their official Twitter channel @FCKobenhavn stating that they are looking forward to welcoming the Scottish champions to Denmark in February.
