Leo Hjelde might be a new signing for Celtic, but Hoops fans have not been too impressed with the club’s latest addition this summer.
Talented Norwegian defender, Leo Hjelde, has agreed a three-year contract to join #CelticFC, subject to international approval. #WelcomeLeo!

The 15-year-old Norwegian joins the Scottish champions from Rosenborg on a three-year deal with the club confirming on their official website that the centre-back, who is a part of Norway’s U-18 national team setup, will initially join up with Celtic’s reserve squad with the long-term plan being for Hjelde to join up with the senior team as his development progresses.
Of course, some Celtic fans were not too excited about the announcement, and these supporters took to social media to vent their frustration at the club for the lack of first-team signings this summer, with many taking to Twitter to tell the club their thoughts about the Hjelde transfer.
Here is what some fans had to say on Twitter…
All fine and well but when did we start announcing players signing for our academy. Lets see some first team signings eh?

Hjelde becomes Celtic’s fifth signing this summer, but their only addition not to go straight into the first-team (per Transfermarkt).
