Heading into the second-leg against Nomme Kalju already winning 5-0 all but ensured Celtic passage to the next round of Champions League qualification.

But it didn’t stop the Hoops from going easy on their Estonian opponents.
The Scottish Premiership holders still waltzed to a 2-0 win in Tallinn, with summer signing Marian Shved scoring his first goal for the club with a 90th-minute rocket.
The result meant that Celtic progressed 7-0 winners against the Estonian champions.
The result sets Celtic up with 3rd qualifying round game against Romanian side CFR Cluj, and Hoops fans were excited to see such a dominant performance against Nomme Kalju heading into the business end of Champions League qualification, and supporters took to social media to give their thoughts on the 2-0 win.
Here is what a few fans had to say on Twitter following the win…
Scoreline not reflective of the performance. Plaudits have got to go to Ntcham, Julien, Broony, Mikey, Morgan, Griff, and a few saves from Gordon that could’ve been prevented, great goal from Shved. Win and clean sheet, onwards we go

Winning against Cluj in the 3rd qualifying round will see Celtic head into the play-off round of Champions League qualifiers, where the Hoops can make a return to Europe’s elite competition if they are to win at that stage.
