A lot of Celtic fans are reacting to comments by former striker Graeme Sharp, who believes leagues should be null and void after recent events have caused football to be postponed.
The Scotsman played for Everton in the past and is a boyhood Rangers fan, and due to this, fans of the Hoops do not think he is the best person to have an opinion on what should happen in both the English Premier League and Scottish Premiership.
Speaking to the Irish Independent, Sharp said: “I would gladly just shut down the league, declare it null and void and we start back when we can.”
Many people across the football world have been weighing in on the debate. With the sport given no date in the near future to return, there is the worry as to how it will affect the next campaign which is due to start in August.
With Celtic 13 points clear at the top of the division with just nine games left to play, per BBC Sport, it seemed inevitable that The Bhoys would win their ninth title in a row, but this is now up in the air.
Loads of Celtic fans have been reacting to Sharp’s ‘null and void’ opinion, with many pointing to the fact that he is only saying it due to his ties with Everton and Rangers. Here is what some had to say…

Hardly the most unbiased opinion now is it?
Why do we even care what the has-beens have to say?
Their opinions on the matter are irrelevant. The only voices that matter are from the clubs and the SPFL.— ℍ (@PrinceOfLurg) April 14, 2020
Yawn!
