Celtic: Fans confused as John Guidetti is linked with a return to the club

A lot of Celtic fans cannot believe the latest news on Twitter linking John Guidetti with a return to the club.

The tweets shows a report from a paper in Sweden saying he will rejoin the club in the summer in a deal that is worth around two million euros, but many are unsure as to whether it is a reliable source.

The Swedish striker had a loan period at the Scottish side in the 2014/15 campaign and made 35 appearances, scoring 15 goals and picking up eleven assists, per Transfermarkt. He also won the title during his time at the club as well as the Scottish League Cup.

Even though he had a good goalscoring record, some fans clearly don’t have great memories of the player, with one saying ‘he wouldn’t even be second choice’.

The forward now sees himself at Bundesliga 2 side Hannover 96, per Transfermarkt, but has only managed five appearances, scoring one goal along the way.
