A lot of Celtic fans are agreeing with former player Chris Sutton who has joined in on the debate about the Scottish Premiership season.
According to The Daily Record, Rangers are still frustrated about the SPFL’s plans to abandon the season, whilst giving Celtic the league title and relegating Heart of Midlothian, per The Guardian.
Sutton believes that the Bhoys’ Old Firm rivals are being a little salty about it all and are using it to point blame away from their poor recent form as he wrote: “Democratic vote… overwhelming result… frustration must really be the wheels came off after the winter break… but blame everyone and everything else…”
It came in response to a tweet from the Daily Record, suggesting that the Gers had taken a swipe at Neil Doncaster and the SPFL’s vote and were threatening legal action.
There is yet to be a decision taken regarding the Premiership, but the lower leagues have already been stopped (BBC Sport) and the SPFL have the power to make the same call at a later date on the top flight.
The Celts are 13 points clear at the top of the league and there are only eight games left, so it looked likely that the club were on course to win their ninth title in a row anyway, per BBC Sport.
Here is what fans had to say following Sutton’s tweet:

rangers, who lose nothing or gain nothing still shouting louder and acting harder done to than Hearts who may yet be relegated.

This decision probably saved Gerard if he fell further behind and Celtic won the treble , they would have turned against him

That’s about the height of it, their fans are angry about what exactly ? Almost 9 years without a major trophy ? a novice manger that’s still in place because of his name as a footballer ? A team full of bottlers ?
