A lot of Celtic fans are discussing winger Patrick Roberts after it is being reported that the club are looking to buy the player in the summer, via SPFL Scouting.
The Hoops are supposedly lining up a bid in the region of £3 million for the Manchester City player and will offer him a four year deal if the Premier League side agree to the transfer.
The Scottish side know the Englishman well as they have had the player on a two year loan before and he was admired by fans, managing to score 18 goals and pick up 26 assists in 78 appearances between 2016-2018, per Transfermarkt.
Clearly those at the club are still fans of Roberts, who is currently on loan at Championship side Middlesborough. He has featured four times since his loan in January and picked up one assist.
The 23-year-old has a lot of football experience behind him and it will be interesting to see if he would like to move back to the Scottish League as it looks like Pep Guardiola does not feel like he is first team quality, indeed he has made just three appearances for City so far (Transfermarkt).
