Celtic: Fans excited about Karamoko Dembele’s return

Celtic fans were rushing to praise youngster Karamoko Dembele on Tuesday, after he marked his return from injury with a goal in their reserves.

The 16-year-old was the talk of Parkhead at the end of last season, when he made his first team debut against Hearts despite being so young.

An injury at the start of this season, however, has stopped him from featuring since.

However, he made his return to action in the youth team’s 4-2 victory against Morton, coming on as a 63rd minute substitute and taking just over 20 minutes to get on the scoresheet.

Celtic have some excellent attacking players such as Ryan Christie and Odsonne Edouard, but in terms of young talents Dembele is probably the most exciting one that they have at the moment after bursting onto the scene as a teenager. Once he regains full fitness he will surely be looking to force his way back into Neil Lennon’s first team plans.

The Bhoys have a very busy schedule coming up with plenty of midweek games in the Europa League pencilled in alongside their League and Cup commitments; this period could provide the perfect opportunity for Dembele.

Naturally, the Celtic fans are delighted to see the youngster back in action. The Hoops faithful like what they have seen from the 16-year-old so far, and some of them want him back in the first team as soon as possible…
