Former Celtic player Alan Thompson has decided to join social media and he posted on Twitter last night. He received a lot of praise from many of the the Hoops fanbase who have also been quick to welcome him.
The left midfielder made 207 appearances for the Bhoys across seven years, and scored 51 goals for the club, per Soccerbase. He also won his fair share of silverware during his career in Scotland which included four league titles, one Scottish League Cup and also won the Scottish Cup three times, per Transfermarkt.

Clearly he is appreciated for his service to the club as the fans flocked to praise him and also give him some tips on how to use the app, one said, ‘Welcome tommo loved you at Celtic great player gave us your all thank you’.
It is the perfect time for the midfielder to join as well, as he can now join in on the celebrations that are happening online. With the campaign abandoned and Celtic awarded the title, via STV News, Thompson can now be a part of the party.
