Celtic have taken some time to show Jeremie Frimpong some appreciation on Twitter, and it has not taken fans long to follow suit.
The 19-year-old has had a breakout season this campaign, featuring in nine SPFL games for the Hoops. In that time, he has managed to score two goals and provide one assist (via ESPN), showing Scottish football his potential.
Frimpong also played his part in Celtic’s capture of the League Cup, making three appearances in the competition.
The defender, of course, was sent off in that tightly contested final against rivals Rangers. However, it was still a day to remember for the youngster as Neil Lennon’s men went on to win 1-0 and make it 10-in-a-row.
The club’s Twitter account has been showing Frimpong plenty of love, posting a few pictures of the Dutchman, and supporters were quick to do the same in the replies.
